Hunan Normal University, Changsha, Nov. 18, 2006: Chair of Expert Panel Prof. Ma Min, Vice-Chair Prof. Wang Wanliang and secretaries Heng Fuguang and Hunag Jinshan held a meeting in the Red Building (International Center of Academic Exchange) to discuss affairs related to the evaluation. The meeting was presided by Prof. Ma Min. After all the experts arrived at HNU, the preparatory meeting was held in the red Building on the evening of Nov. 18 to deploy the evaluation. All the divided groups made more detailed arrangements after the preparatory meeting. They put themselves into the tense work without any rest.

Experts who just finished the meeting went to the meeting room of 3^rd floor in the Red Building to examine the documents. The documents exhibited in the meeting room are supporting materials of different observation points.

From the morning of Nov. 19, the panelists begin to do the investigation on various points. In the morning, the panelist visited the Anti-Japanese Martyry, Gymnasium, Library and Zhishan Teaching Building. At noon, the panelists had the lunch together with students at campus dinning hall. In the afternoon, the panelists went to investigate the College of Life Science, College of Music, Foreign Studies College and College of Fine Arts, etc. In the evening, the panelists were invited to take part in the art performance named Morning Sunlight of Lotus. The panelists enjoyed the performances together with 1000 students on the campus.

On the early morning of Nov. 20, some panelists joined the weekly ceremony of raising National Flag on the campus. Vice President Ji Xuefeng and Bai Jiehong also attended the ceremony.

Up to now, all the evaluation work has been carried out in an orderly way.
