Invited by Ulaanbaatar University, Mongolia, a delegation led by HNU’s President Liu Xiangrong visited Ulaanbaatar University successfully from July 16th to 21st.

Druing the visit, the HNU delegation received the warm welcome from the Ulaanbaatar University and a lots of cooperation & exchange issues in physical education, publication and overseas students recruiting have been discussed by both sides. Furthermore, HNU is going to help start Chinese Language Department in Ulaanbaatar University and Ulaanbaatar University will also work with HNU to set SeJong School in HNU.

Ulaanbaatar University, with 15 year’s history, is the only private university run by foreign people in Mongolia. It ranks NO.1 among over 100 private universities and ranks NO.5 among all the universities in Mongolia. Hunan Normal University and Ulaanbaatar University became offcial friendship universities in Dec of 2007 and this is the first time for HNU delegation to visit Ulaanbaatar University. Delegation members include Li Yanling (Dean of PE College, HNU), Zhou Yubo (Director of Publishing House, HNU) and Piao Chengri (Deputy Director of Office of International Exchange & Cooperation, HNU).
