From May 14th to May 21st: A five-member delegation, led by Lu Yuehua ,HNU’s vice-secretary of the Party Committee, visited Sangmyung University、Sungshin Women’s University、Keimyung University、Inje University and Cheju National University in Korea on invitation，where several agreements on cooperation and exchange have been signed.

Sangmyung University was the first Korean university that built friendly relationship with our university. And our delegation’s visit there was mainly for the 70th Anniversary of its foundation. Many presidents from other countries attended a forum held by Sangmyung University. Lu Yuehua gave a speech on invitation, and it was well recognized. Our delegation also have inspected its hardware facilities, Education qualities and the like. During the stay , Sangmyung University presented 403 Korean books to the Foreign Studies Collage of our university. We also exchanged intentions of goodwill cooperation with some high schools from the countries like Mongolia, Viet Nam. After the stay at Sangmyung University, the delegation moved to Sungshin Women’s University. There our delegation and Sungshin Women’s University reached a common understanding on enlarging the scale of exchange students ,where both sides planned to increase the number of exchange students from 1 per year to 3 or 5 per year.

At Keimyung University and Inje University, the delegation signed the agreements on cooperation and exchange with the two university respectively on behalf of HNU. And also, some concerning matters like exchanging teachers and students, co-sponsoring academic conferences and the communication of information have been discussed.

By this time, the number of Korean universities that had signed formal agreements with HNU has increased to eleven. 

When visiting at the last stop, our delegation probed into matters of strengthening cooperation with Cheju National University,which planed to send 1 or 2 students to HNU for studying and expected to send another delegation to HNU for a short-term research and study again within this year.
