Former Prefect of Shiga, Japan, Lectured at HNU

Hunan Normal University, Changsha, May 20th, 2007: Kunimatsu Zenji, former Prefect of Shiga, Japan, visited HNU on May 20, giving a lecture named New Times of the Friendly Exchange between Hunan Province and Shiga Prefecture. Pang Liping, Vice-Chairman of Hunan People¡¯s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (HPAFFC)£¬and supervisor Zhou Wantian ,were present at the lecture. The lecture attracted a large audience from the Japanese department.

At the lecture, Kunimatsu Zenji introduced Shiga Prefecture and the Lute Lake situated there, which is also the oldest and the largest Lake in Japan. He placed high expectation on the cooperation between China and Japan, and also emphasized that a qualified global citizen should be aware of protecting our earth, trying to maintain a sustainable development.
