Hunan Normal University, Changsha, May 18, 2007: A delegation led by Mr. Guillaume, President of L'Université d'Orleans, visited HNU. Professor Liu Xiangrong, President of HNU, Professor Jiang Hongxin, Vice-president of HNU, and other principals of the related departments held a welcoming ceremony for the French guests. At the same time, Mr. Zhou Yongqiang, Director of Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Hunan Province, attended the ceremony, during which a Cooperation and Exchange Agreement was signed between the two sides.

Professor Liu Xiangrong, on behalf of HNU, expressed his welcome to his counterpart and mentioned his unforgettable visit to L'Université d'Orleans last May. Mr. Guillaume appreciated very much the hospitality of HNU and expressed his confidence in establishing good cooperation with HNU.

Soon afterwards, both sides signed an agreement of cooperation and exchange, and negotiated with regard to cooperative and exchange affairs.
