If this is your first visit to Hunan Normal University, please let me give you some basic information.

    Entrance ports:  Visitors from Europe, America, Africa etc. can enter China from Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Hong Kong or Guangzhou. If you are from Japan, you can enter China from Shanghai or Beijing. Visitors from Korea can fly directly to Changsha. Vistors from Russia can enter China from Urumchi or Beijing.

    Destination: Hunan Normal University is located in Changsha, Hunan Province. Changsha is an inland city. Therefore, visitors need to come to Changsha by air or by train. It takes 2 hours to come to Changsha by air from Beijing or Hong Kong, about one hour from Shanghai, Guangzhou or Shenzhen. It takes 15-18 hours to travel from Beijing or Shanghai to Changsha by train. From Shenzhen or Guangzhou, it will take about 10 hours. It would be an unwise choice to come from Urumchi to Changsha by train as it is too a long a distance; you are thus advised to come by air, which takes about 5 hours.

    OK, now you are standing at Changsha Huanghua International Airport. From here to the University, you can take the airport shuttle to the centre of Changsha city and then take a taxi; or, alternatively, you can just get a taxi at the airport which will take you to Hunan Normal University directly. It will take you about one hour from the airport to our main campus.
