Samantha Jenkins professor of Chemistry at Hunan Normal University, Changsha, China.

Research interests: Developing the theory of atoms in molecules (QTAIM), hydrogen bonding, the structure of soft-matter and the aggregation behavior of silica.

Samantha Jenkins has a PhD in computational and theoretical chemical physics from the University of Salford, UK. She did her undergraduate studies at Exeter University in the Theoretical Physics program. She has a broad range of international collaborators and is in the process of building a research group. Currently she is a professor at the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Hunan Normal University, Changsha, China. Her involvement in SuMo is as a guest researcher.
